Karapet “Karo” Parisyan ( Armenian .արապետ Փարիզյան ; born August 28, 1982) is an Armenian-American mixed martial artist nicknamed “Heat”, known for his performances in organizations such as UFC , WEC and Bellator . He has performed professionally in MMA since 1999. Former WEC welterweight champion, and also had the status of a contender for the UFC welterweight champion belt, but due to a series of injuries he could not compete for the title.
