The real name of the singer Koksi - Laura Cohen ( fr. Laure Cohen ).
Born in 1977. According to the music site AllMusic , Coxie “quickly evolved in the artistic field”: she “studied dance, opened her own art school and worked as a DJ at one of the most popular radio stations in France.” Nevertheless, in the end it was not all that brought fame to her, but the song “Garçon”, which she posted on her MySpace page . This composition with an adherent chorus, which reflected Koxy’s passion for hip-hop , was noticed and earned a large number of auditions. Then the song was released as a single , it was picked up by radio stations, and it became a big hit in France.
