History
For the first time, professional skill competitions among disabled people took place in Japan in 1953 . Subsequently, these competitions became international. Competitions have been held by the International Abilympic Federation since 1972 and unite 46 countries.
The Abilimpix International Federation was established in 1985 in Bogota [1] .
- Abilimpics held the 1st international championship in 1981 in Tokyo .
- The 2nd International Championship Abilimpix was held in 1985 in Bogota .
- The 3rd International Abilimpix Championship was held in 1991 in Hong Kong .
- The 4th International Abilimpix Championship was held in 1995 in Perth .
- The 5th Abilimpix International Championship was held in 2000 in Prague .
- The 6th International Abilimpix Championship was held in 2003 in Delhi .
- The 7th Abilimpix International Championship was held in 2007 in Suzuoka . [2]
- The 8th Abilimpix International Championship was held in 2011 in Seoul .
- The 9th International Abilimpix Championship was held in 2016 in Bordeaux .
Abilimpix in Russia
Since 2014, professional skill competitions among disabled people have been held in Russia. Abilimpix 1 national championship was held in 2015.
The competition is held in 45 competencies for students and young professionals, as well as in 6 competencies for schoolchildren [3] . In the cities of Russia, regional centers of the Abilimpix movement are being created [4] .
The main organizer of the competition is the Russian State Social University . Various organizations act as expert employers [5] .
The 3rd Abilimpics Championship of Russia will be held from December 1 to 3, 2017 in Moscow at 69 pavilion of VDNH.
In 2017, the coordination councils of employers are created in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation [6]
In 2018, it is planned to hold Abilimpix championships in all 85 regions of Russia [7] .
At the 4th Abilimpix Championship, the competitions were held in the following areas of IT Technology, Food, Industrial professions, Service industry, Creative professions, Medical professions, Economics and finance, Decorative and applied arts, Presentation competencies and Master classes. [8]
