DescriptionSmall moth-shaped butterflies. The length of the front wings of males about 2 mm, span - up to 4.8 mm. The color is grayish brown. Flagellum of male antenna consists of 30 segments. Biology unknown. Adults appear in April [1] [2] .
EtymologyThe species name S. arequipica is derived from the name of the region where the type series is located (Arequipa Departamento) [1] .
