Drozdovsky, Lev Antonovich

Drozdovsky Lev Antonovich ( February 15, 1869 - December 1951 ) - Coronet General of the Army of the Ukrainian People's Republic and Major General of the Tsarist Army . Member of the Russian-Japanese and World War I.

Biography

Born in the city of Derazhnya, Podolsk province (according to other sources, in the city of Kerch in a family of immigrants from Podolia ). He graduated from the Kerch Alexander Classical Gymnasium, Novorossiysk University in 1892 .

He received his military education at the Kiev Infantry Junker School , and subsequently graduated from the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff in the 1st category.

He participated in the Russo-Japanese War . During World War I, from December 1, 1915 to February 8, 1917, the commander of the 137th Nezhin Regiment , later the chief of staff of the 52nd Infantry Division and the chief of staff of the 1st Guards Corps .

The last rank in the tsarist army is Major General .

In the UPR Army since 1918. In 1918 , he was the 1st Quartermaster General of the General Staff of the UPR Army, and from October 25, 1918, the UPR military attache in Switzerland and Italy .

Since 1920 - in exile, lived for 17 years in Abyssinia , since 1948 - in Peru. Died and buried in the city of Lima ( Peru ).
