Sanok County ( German Bezirk Sanok , Sanok County [1] , Polish Powiat sanocki ) is an administrative unit of the crown land of the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria as part of Austria-Hungary , which existed in 1867-1918. The administrative center is Sanok .

The area of the district in 1879 was 12.6487 square miles (727.81 km2), and the population was 78,612 people. Of these, slightly less than 54% were Greek Catholics, approx. 38% are Roman Catholics and 8% are Jews [2] . The district totaled 136 settlements, organized in 129 cadastral municipalities. There were 2 district courts operating in the okrug - in Sank, Rymanow and Bukovsko [3] .
After World War I, the district, together with all of Galicia, moved to Poland .
