Mostiska District

Mostiska District ( German: Bezirk Mościska , Mostys County [1] , Polish. Powiat mościski ) is the administrative unit of the crown land of the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria as part of Austria-Hungary , which existed in 1850-1918. The administrative center is Mostiska .

The area of ​​the district in 1879 was 7.9357 square miles (456.62 km2), and the population was 60 569 people. The district consisted of 76 settlements organized in 73 cadastral municipalities. In the district there were 2 district courts - in Mostisk and Sudovaya Vishnu [2] .

During 1915, the county was part of the Przemysl province , formed on the territory of Austria-Hungary occupied by Russian troops [3] .
