Name Origin
In the opinion of I. Zhurkin, local historians, B. Katagoshchina, the village got its name by the name of the landowner.
According to the assumption of A. Gavrilov, V. Dergunov, the name of the village indicates the presence in these places, at least temporarily, of Türks, most likely Tatars. "Toidak" in translation from Turkic - clay hill. And indeed, here, opposite the village, on the other side of Neposti, a clay cliff rises up. [3]
History
Taydakovo is one of the oldest settlements in the Shilovsky district. For the first time it is mentioned in the granted, preferential and conviction letter of the Grand Duke of Ryazan, Ivan Fedorovich (1427-1456), to Grigory Davydovich Shilovsky on
“The outskirts of the border beyond the Glebovsky forest on the river on Tynord, cross-country and onboard land and land guards, the village of Pervichi from the land and from the peasants, and on the Neplozhe river the village of Toidakovo from the peasants and the land, and from the land . ” [four]
That is, in the middle of the XV century. Taydakovo already existed and was considered a village. In an excerpt from Ryazan scribes Grigory Pleshcheyev, Kiprian Dedishin and clerk Fedor Kozlov for 1560, the village of Taydakovo was listed in the estate for Dmitry and Daniil Timofeevich Shilovsky. In the import certificate of Tsar Boris I Godunov, the son of the boyar Thomas Ivanovich Sevostyanov for 1600, Taydakovo is already indicated as his father’s estate, a wasteland that was a village. It is also mentioned in the import letter of Tsar Vasily IV of Shuisky for 1607 to the village of Isady, where, in particular, it is indicated:
" ... Isad sen (s) sat I mowed across the river beyond the Oka in the Bologovsky meadow, between Ryabreva and Murat villages there are no meadows, along the meadow of the Taydakov village 700 drops ." [five]
It can be assumed that by this time the settlement was again populated. The extract from the scribe books of Prince Vasily Vyazemsky and clerk Ivan Kavelin for 1637-1640. Taydakovo is listed as a village, attributed to the parish of the Intercession Church of the village of Sreznevo. According to salary books in 1676, in the village of Taydakovo, there were 19 peasant households and 3 yards of moss . [6]
By 1891, according to I.V.Dobrolyubov , the Taydakovo village belonged to the parish of the Intercession Church of the village of Sreznevo and there were 26 peasant households in it. [6]
