The 15-year-old, and later the 16-year-old protagonist, Sirota Mahiru, hates all kinds of difficulties in life, preferring accuracy and clarity in everything. For this reason, he picks up a black kitten on the street, giving him the corresponding name - Kuro (from the Japanese "Black"). He does not suspect that his seemingly harmless pet is actually a vampire servant - one of the so-called servamps who make contracts with people and serve them in exchange for the opportunity to drink the blood of his master. And then it is time for Mahir to say goodbye to all the simplicity of the world around him. An orphan is drawn into an implacable war between the seven Servamps and their eighth cruel brother, Tsubaki.

• Servamps are vampires subject to humans. Each of the servamps is one of the deadly sins. Servamps are subordinate to people who have concluded contracts with them and given them names and special things (objects of the contract). The contract is concluded if the servamp drinks the owner’s blood. Instead, servamps execute any orders of their owners, even the most cruel. All servamps are immortal. Even the most severe wounds inflicted by him quickly heal. The only way to kill the servamp is to break the subject of the contract, connecting it with its owner.
• Eve ( 主人 бу ibu ) are the owners of the servamps who have concluded a contract with them. More resilient than ordinary people. They fight with the help of special weapons, which are given to them by servamps with the help of their skills. For the execution of their orders by the forces of a vampire they pay with their own blood.
• Organization C3 is an organization that maintains relationships with vampires. This organization once held Tsubaki himself and was notorious among the Servamps.

• Kuro ( Jap. ク ロ ) is the servamp of Leni, the oldest of the true servamp brothers. He is a vampire servant to Mahiru. Very lazy, hates to apply a large amount of effort to something, calling any business “troublesome”. He is a hikikomori, constantly eating something. As it turns out in the end, it was he who was the killer of the man who created all the servamps, before that, however, preferring to solve this issue by voting between the servamps. At the end of the anime, Tsubaki wins with Mahiru. In daylight it turns into a black kitten. It does not have a single generation. It seems harmless, but any mention of his past can make Kuro an aggressive opponent.
• Misono Alisein ( 有 栖 院 御 園 ) - Eva Servampa Lust, the same age as Mahiru. The youngest member of the wealthy Alicein family. Very rich, has at his disposal a huge mansion. The younger brother of Mikuni Alisein, with whom he is in a bad relationship. At first glance it seems very arrogant and proud, but in fact a devoted friend and is always ready to protect his friends, sacrificing a lot for them. In fact, it is an illegitimate child. Previously, his mother was killed by the distraught mother of Mikuni, who, in a fit of rage and hatred, entered into a contract with a servamp of Envy. Later, she also wanted to kill Misono, but she was prevented by Mikuni, who killed her, entered into a contract with the Servamp of Envy, and left his own home.
• Snow Lily ( ス ノ ウ リ リ イ ) is a lust servamp who faithfully served the Alicein family. He is currently the vampire servant of Misono.
