Arms and Sleepers is a musical group from the USA combining elements of such musical genres as ambient , progressive rock and trip-hop in its work. The group includes Max Lewis and Mirza Ramik. The group was created in 2006 [1] , during this time three albums were presented - Bliss Was It in That Dawn to Be Alive in 2006, Black Paris 86 - 2007 and Matador, released in 2009.

Content
History
Formation, Black Paris 86 (2006—2008)
Max Lewis and Mirza Ramik previously performed on The List Exists, a post-rock band from Brunswick, Maine. After three years of performances, the group split up in 2006. Lewis and Ramick created Arms and Sleepers. As Ramik explains, the name of the group is “the meaning of many phenomena in the past, present and future. While some fight and kill (“warriors”), others ignore what is happening (“sleeping”). The band's first release was recorded on Fake Chapter Records in November 2006. The first release of Bliss Was It in That Dawn to Be Alive EP was positively received by critics. The band's first full-length album, Black Paris 86, was released in 2007 on two CDs (Expect Candy Records) and vinyl (Ericrock).
Matador (2009—2010)
Matador was released in the USA, Europe and Japan. Like the band’s previous album, Matador also came out on 12 '' vinyl. Critics noted the release of the album with enthusiasm, noted a greater orientation to vocals compared to the previous album.
The Organ Hearts (2011 - Present)
The band's third album was released in May 2011 exclusively at Expect Candy Records. Some singles have been performed with Ben Sheport from the indie band Uzi and Ari.
The album "The Organ Hearts", with which the Americans go to Russia, looks like a shop window, where the group shows everything that they can - here you have experiments with electronics in the spirit of the early Four Tet ("I Sing The Body Electric"), and sincere songs ( For the first time, a vocalist, Ben Shepherd, known by the band Uzi & Ari, and summer soundtracks are touring with Arms & Sleepres.
