As part of Levante and Albacete , he became the winner of the third division of Spain . Then, for four years, he played for the Andorra club. As part of Principat , he became the top scorer of the Andorran championship .

Biography
Player Career
In 1987 he became a Levante player who played in the third Spanish division . In the 1988/89 season, together with the team, he won the tournament, but Gonzalez did not play in the second division , as he moved to Albacete in the summer. As part of the club, he spent only one season and again became the winner of Segunda B.
In the summer of 1990, Patricio Gonzalez became a player in Andorra and played for four seasons in Segund B, having spent more than a hundred games. Then, the Spaniard moved to the team from the Andorran championship - Principat . Together with the team for the first time he became the winner of Example Divisio , which allowed the club to debut in European competition. Gonzalez himself became the top scorer of the championship, scoring 25 goals. In the summer of 1997 he made his European debut in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup against the Scottish Dundee United . By the sum of two games, the Andorrans lost with the score (0:17). In July 1998, he played two games in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup against the Hungarian Ferencvaros . As a result, Principat did not advance to the next round, losing with the score (1:14) [2] [3] . In August 1999, he played in two games of the preliminary round of the UEFA Cup against the Norwegian Viking . Andorrans lost with the score (0:18) and left the tournament [4] [5] .
Coaching career
In 2004, the Spaniard led the Andorran “ San Julia ” as head coach. In the 2003/04 season, the team won the silver medal of the championship and the finalist of the Andorra Cup . In June 2004, the club took part in the first round of the Intertoto Cup , where they lost to Smederevo (0:11). In September 2004, São Julia won the Andorran Super Cup by defeating Santa Coloma (2: 1) [6] .
Under the leadership of Patricio González, San Julia won the Andorran Championship for the first time in the 2004/05 season [7] . After that, the team first participated in the UEFA Cup , where in the first qualifying round they lost to Rapid (0:10, the sum of two matches) in Bucharest. In the Andorran Super Cup 2005, San Julia lost to Santa Coloma with a minimum score (0: 1). In the 2005/06 season, the team again became the silver medalist of Example Divisio and the semi-finalist of the Andorra Cup [8] . In the summer of 2006, “San Julia” took part in the Intertoto Cup , but lost to the Slovenian “ Maribor ” (0: 8) [9] .
In the 2006/07 season, the club won bronze medals in the championship , and also reached the final of the Constitution Cup , where it lost to Santa Coloma (2: 2 main and 2: 4 in the penalty spot) [10] . In June 2007, “São Julia” participated in the first round of the Intertoto Cup and lost the total of two matches to Sarajevo “ Slavia ” (4: 6). The following season, the team won second place in the championship , and also for the first time became the winner of the Andorra Cup , defeating the Lusitans in the final (6: 1). In the summer of 2008, the club again played in the UEFA Cup qualification , this time the team lost to the Bulgarian “ Black Sea ” in the sum of two matches with a score (0: 9). In the match for the Andorran Super Cup 2008, “San Julia” was defeated by “Santa Coloma” (0: 3) [11] .
The 2008/09 season was successful for San Julia, which for the second time in its history won the championship [12] . In the summer of 2009, the team first participated in the Champions League . In the first round of “San Julia”, the San Marino “ Tre Fiori ” got caught and the Andorrans managed to win (2: 2 in the sum of two matches and 5: 4 in the penalty shootout) [13] . “San Julia” was the first Andorran team to advance to the next round of European competitions. In the second round, the club lost to the Bulgarian Levski (0: 9). In September 2009, San Julia won the Andorran Super Cup for the second time, defeating Santa Coloma (2: 1) [14] .
In the 2009/10 season, the team won bronze medals in the championship and won the Andorran Cup by beating Unio Esportiva Santa Coloma (1-0). In the summer of 2010, “San Julia” was led by Daniel Tremonti and Gonzalez left his post. Later, Patricio González became the sports director of San Giuliais [15] .
