Content
Biography
From the Lithuanian noble family of the Obukhovichs, the “ Yasenchik ” coat of arms. The younger son of the governor of Smolensk, Philip Kazimir Obukhovich , the brother of Mikhail Obukhovich .
He served at the court of the King of Poland and the Grand Duke of Lithuania, Jan II Casimir Vaz . After his abdication, he left with the king for France (1669). In 1670, together with other gentry returned home, settling in the estate Dorogovo Novogrudok Voivodeship .
In 1672, as part of the gentry militia, he set off on a Turkish campaign: “I went out of my own and my own hunting for that expedition” Participated in the Battle of Khotyn . In 1674 he made a pilgrimage to Rome [1] [2] .
Since 1679, the Novogrudsky subcomomorium, from 1700 - Novogrudsky castellan , the headman of Tsirinsk. The owner of the estates Velikaya Lipa and Dorogovo in Novogrudok Voivodeship, the village of Gorbovichi in the Mozyr povet , rented Tsirin [3] .
At Novogrudok seymik, he was repeatedly elected ambassador to the Sejm of the Commonwealth . He was buried in the Jesuit church in Novogrudok.
Creativity
The author Diarius (Diary), covering events from 1656 to the beginning of the Northern War . A narrative of events is given in the chronicle form of weather records in Polish, Latin expressions are found. The diary was published by M.I.Balinsky in 1859 in Vilna, in 2003 in Warsaw and in 2016 in Minsk [4] .
