Biography
Descended from the Havre-Erimes line of the West-Flemish house de Havre . Son of Godfroy II Penshar de Le Havre (died 1479/1480), Señora de Fressen, and Marie de Gistel (died after 1504).
Señor de Fressen (Fresen; now: French department of Nor , district Douai , canton of Arleux ), Olligny (now: Belgian province of Hainault , district of Soignies , canton Lessin), Josch (now: Flemish Brabant , Nivel , canton of Jodoan) Ambri, and so on. One of the most significant representatives of the family de Le Havre.
Counselor and Chamberlain King Philip the Fair . After returning from a trip to Castile, Philip on November 13, 1504 appointed Jacques de Le Havre the great Bali Hainault .

He died in the position of the Great Balla in 1537 and was buried in the church of the Abbey of Le Val-de-Ecole in Mons .
