Ocean's Thirteen is an American crime comedy directed by Stephen Soderbergh , released in 2007 . Continuation of the films " Eleven Ocean Friends " and " Ocean's Twelve Friends ". The film was released in the Russian film distribution on June 7, 2007 .

Content
Story
Danny Ocean ( George Clooney ) gathers his team again. This time for revenge. Willie Bank ( Al Pacino ), the owner of one of the largest casinos in Las Vegas , deceived their friend Ruben ( Elliott Gould ), leaving him in a coma . In retaliation, Ocean and his friends are going to ruin the Bank - the new Bank casino. This requires one night to make the casino lose the entire refundable limit. For the new Bank casino, this critical amount was - before the trial opening - half a billion dollars. Frauds involving slot machines and shuffle machines for shuffling cards , replacing balls in roulette are used , but soon friends are faced with a lack of funds to implement the plan. They have to contact their old enemy - Terry Benedict ( Andy Garcia ).

Creation
Director Steven Soderbergh admits that, having not yet completed work on the previous film in the series, he began to ponder ideas for Ocean's Thirteen Friends.
We were already finishing the second film, and I thought it would be funny in the next part to transfer the action back to Las Vegas. To a large extent, the film was motivated by the desire of everyone to work together again. Either everyone had to participate, or we would not shoot.

Production
In January 2006, it was reported that the producers were in discussions about setting up and shooting the film itself in Wynn Las Vegas . Clooney had previously hoped to make a film at his upcoming Las Ramblas resort in Las Vegas, although the project would not be ready for production. [16] In March 2006, it was reported that the film would be shot in a fake casino, which will be built on the five sound stages of Warner Bros. [17]
Filming is expected to begin in Las Vegas and Los Angeles in July 2006. Al Pacino joined the cast in April 2006 [18] . Filming took place in Las Vegas in mid-July 2006, when the Bellagio was a confirmed location for filming. Scenes had previously been shot in the Bellagio for the film " Ocean's Eleven Friends " [19] . Filming in Las Vegas began on August 7, 2006 [20] , when scenes were shot at McCarran International Airport and at heliport [21] . The next day, the crew moved to the Palazzo resort , which was being built at that time [22] . Filming in Las Vegas ended on August 9, 2006, after scenes involving Clooney, Pitt, Damon, and Garcia were shot in an office in the back of the Bellagio. At that time, Clooney and producer Jerry Weintraub were considering the premiere of the film in Las Vegas [22] . Another shoot in Las Vegas was scheduled for September 2006 [23] and included an additional shoot in the Bellagio [22] .

Facts
- Roman Nagel ( Eddie Izzard ) becomes the twelfth friend, and Terry Benedict ( Andy Garcia ) becomes the thirteenth friend.
- Like the previous two parts of the trilogy, this one went to the Russian box office with an incorrect translation of the name. Ocean's thirteen ( twelve, eleven ) friends in a scam team can only be counted if you take Ocean for your own friend.
- Vladimir Klitschko , who performed the cameo in the first part of the trilogy, was offered a role in the film, but he refused [24] .
- At the very beginning of the film, when Bank ( Al Pacino ) cheats on Ruben ( Elliott Gould ), the latter recalls that they both shook hands with Sinatra . Frank Sinatra played the role of Danny Ocean in the original film .
