Sidi Brahim is a small commune in the Algerian province of Sidi Bel Abbes . Known for the wines produced there of the same name and the that took place between the French colonists and local rebels in 1845 during the French conquest of Algeria . During the existence of the Roman Empire on the site of the present commune was the city of Bensella , which was part of the province of Africa [1] .
