Merzouga (Central Atlas ⵎⴰⵔⵣⵓⴳⴰ, Arabic. مرزوقة ) is a small village located in southeast Morocco, 35 km southeast of , 55 km from Erfoud and 50 km west of the Algerian border. The village is known for its proximity to the Erg Shebby sand massif , which attracts a large number of tourists visiting the country, as well as the country's largest groundwater location.
