Legendary Tales (c. English "Legendary Tales") is the debut album of the Italian group Rhapsody , released in 1997 , and opening a cycle of five albums by Algalord Cronicles - The Emerald Sword Saga (Algalord Chronicles - Saga of the Emerald Sword) with a cross-cutting plot. The author of the cover was Eric Philippe.

Content

Concept

The story is told on behalf of the chronicler Arezius.

Enchanted Earths are in danger: hordes of demons have invaded their borders. The kings of Algalord, Elgard, Torald and Elnor united in an alliance, but suffer one defeat after another. The Council of Kings decides to fulfill an ancient prophecy: The Ice Warrior from the far north must find the magical Emerald Sword that will bring victory.

The hero from the north accepts the prophecy and appears at their call. He sets off on a journey inspired by the beautiful views of the fabulous Unicorn Forest. But he is also haunted by visions of the horrors of war in his native Ancelot. From the sorcerer Arezius from Elgard, he learns that he must find a magic sword in the forbidden lands, and goes in search of the gate.
