Biography

Born in the family of a clerk at a railway station. He began his career in 1920 as a locksmith apprentice in a private workshop in Yekaterinoslav. He worked as a molder, fireman of the Dnepropetrovsk plant named after the Comintern.

Since 1930 in the Red Army: Red Navy of the Baltic Fleet. He studied at a machine school, was a political worker on the cruiser Aurora in Leningrad. Member of the CPSU (b) .

After serving in the Navy, he studied for three years at the Stalin All-Union Communist University in Leningrad.

In 1937-1939 - head of the cultural and propaganda department of the Kirov District Committee of the Communist Party (b) near the city of Dnepropetrovsk; Secretary of the Kirov District Committee of the Communist Party (b) At the city of Dnepropetrovsk.

In 1939-1941 - the prosecutor of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

At the beginning of World War II, he was evacuated to the eastern regions of the USSR. In 1941-1943 - Head of the Industrial Department of the Frunze Regional Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Kyrgyzstan; Acting Deputy Prosecutor of the Ukrainian SSR for special cases.

In 1943-1944 - the prosecutor of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

In 1944, he worked as the 3rd secretary of the Dnepropetrovsk regional committee of the Communist Party (b) U

In 1944-1946 he was the 2nd Secretary of the Chernivtsi Regional Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) U.

In the years 1946-1948 - 1st Secretary of the Chernivtsi Regional Committee of the Communist Party (b) U.
