Lajos Lencesch ( Hungarian. Lencsés Lajos ; born January 18, 1943 , Dorog ) is a Hungarian oboist.

Biography
He graduated from the Budapest Academy of Music , then improved his skills in Paris and Nice under the guidance of Etienne Bodot and Pierre Pierlo . In 1968 he shared with Jean-Claude Malguard the second prize of the International Competition for Performers in Geneva (the first prize was not awarded).
For some time he played in the Philharmonia Hungarica orchestra, and since 1971 over the years the first oboe of the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra . He has performed with such conductors as Sergiu Celibidache , Karl Münchinger , Neville Mariner , Christoph Eschenbach .
Among the more than 50 discs recorded by Lenceshem are the entire leading oboe repertoire, including concerts ranging from Tomaso Albinoni to Andre Zholive . Recorded Lenchesh and an album with works by Hungarian composers ( Zoltan Kodai , Frigyes Hidasch , Ferenc Farkas , etc.).
