Ecitophya (lat.) Is a genus of myrmecophilous short-winged beetles from the subfamily Aleocharinae (Ecitocharini, Staphylinidae ). Neotropics [1] .

Description
Small beetles (about 5 mm) are reddish brown. Associated with nomadic ants of the genus Eciton [1] [2] [3] .
Systematics
6 types. The genus Ecitophya is included in the myrmecophilic tribe Ecitocharini from the Aleocharinae subfamily [1] .
