Eurasia International University ( Armenian Եվրասիա միջազգային համալսարան , EIU) provides educational opportunities within the framework of the national qualification of the Republic of Armenia in the following degrees: VI - bachelor, VII - master, VIII - researcher (scientific degree - candidate of sciences). The university’s basic higher education programs are: Management, Law, Foreign Languages ​​(English, French, German), Pharmacy and Information Systems (IP).

From 2013 to the present day, the university has been offering the following degree programs: Economics and Management of Its Industries (Ը .00.02), German Languages ​​(Ը .02.07) and Public Law (constitutional, administrative, financial, local government, environmental , European Law, Public Administration) (ԺԲ .00.02)

The master's degree includes the following specialties: Constitutional Law, Civil Law and Litigation, Criminal Law and Litigation, International and European Law, Management, Project Management, Electronic Business Management, Hotel Management, English Language and Literature (TEFL), Pharmacy and Information Systems (IP).

In 2002, the university passed general accreditation, then twice passed institutional accreditation (in 2015 it was accredited for two years, and in November 2018 for four years) by the National Center for Quality Assurance of Professional Education in accordance with the “Standards and Recommendations for Quality Assurance in the European Higher education space » EMU is one of two private universities in the republic (out of 25), which has received accreditation for a period of 4 years.

Since 2005, the university switched to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) and works according to the Bologna action plan: the university constantly compares the educational programs of EU partner universities, ensuring the compatibility and harmonization of educational programs, and also promotes the mobility of administrative staff and students.

Cooperating with a number of EU universities in the framework of the Erasmus Mundus program (EIU - a member of the ALRAKIS, ALRAKIS 2 and MID consortia) and hereinafter Erasmus + KA1, MUE adopted a policy of full credit recognition and developed appropriate mechanisms for implementing this policy. By the number of implemented projects under the Erasmus + KA1 program, the university is among the five best universities in the republic.

Graduates of the International University of Eurasia are given diploma applications in the form developed by the European Commission, the European Council and UNESCO / CEPESS. Loans received at partner universities are clearly recorded in diploma applications, which helps students differentiate their educational path and have better job opportunities.

Within the framework of the EU-funded Erasmus + HARMONY program (development of approaches of the EU and partner universities to harmonize innovative integrated internationalization strategies in the field of higher education and research), as well as in the process of implementing proposals and programs of EU partners and based on the analysis, MUE developed a separate strategy internationalization, which is called "Development of DNA of the International University of Eurasia." The new internationalization strategy identifies a number of key components that are included in five main areas: (i) the internationalization of managerial and academic personnel; (ii) promoting student mobility, increasing the number of foreign students; (iii) internationalization of educational programs and their content; (iv) the internationalization of research and the expansion of international cooperation; (v) enhancing the international vision of MUE.

History

Eurasian International University (International University and the Humanities Institute "Eurasia") was founded in 1996; The university was officially accredited by decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia on March 13, 2002. Today he has the right to issue state diplomas. After graduation, the university also provides supplements to diplomas that meet the standards set by the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO / CEPES.

In 2005, the Eurasian International University switched to the academic credit system (ECTS) and initiated a number of programs for the international exchange of students and teachers. The university offers opportunities for academic education at the following levels of the national qualification structure of the Republic of Armenia: undergraduate (VI), master's (VII), scientific research (VIII, doctoral degrees ).

According to his own words, the university has been “devoted to its internationalization strategy and actively cooperates with international organizations” for ten years now - he has joined or become a member of “a number of international scholarship programs”. As part of these programs, the university conducted "a number of international projects at various levels, such as: student exchange, trainings and seminars for teachers and staff."

In 2015, Eurasia University was accredited for the second time by the National Center for the Quality Assurance of Professional Education: the decree was then approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia. From the day it was founded, the university offers students the opportunity to study for free: every year, about 10% of the student body study for free, 20-30% of students receive financial support for the duration of the study.

Exchange programs are implemented with the support of the European Union and within the framework of the Erasmus + program, students are given a monthly scholarship in the amount of 700-800 euros for accommodation and other expenses. The sponsor pays for travel expenses.
