Geography
The village is located 24 km north of the city of Navashino .
History
The first mention of the village of Efremov in the Savior-Sedchinsky parish is in the salary books of 1676. It included 37 peasant households [2] .
At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries, the village was a large settlement as part of the Monakovsky volost of the Murom district of Vladimir province . In 1859 [3] there were 42 yards in the village, in 1905 [4] - 110 yards.
Since 1929, the village was part of the Efanovsky village council of the Murom region of the Gorky region . Since 1944 - as part of the Mordovshchik district (since 1957 - the Navashinsky district) of the Gorky region . Since 2009, the village is part of the Pozdnyakovsky Village Council , and since 2015, it has been part of the Navashinsky urban district .
