City legends (Syktyvkar) is a municipal project whose main goal is to create new objects of the urban environment in the Komi capital on the basis of proposals from citizens. The project was launched in 2013. As of April 15, 2017, there are 11 official objects of the urban environment. The project was initiated by the administration of the municipal entity of the Syktyvkar urban district. [1] In addition to official sites, there are unofficial sites, but revered by the townspeople.

Voting for the selection of objects was organized through established 12 branded ballot boxes and via the Internet. [3]
In December 2013, online voting was launched on the Yopolis Internet platform. [four]
The winner was determined on March 30, 2014 by summing up the votes received during the online and offline voting. [3]
From April 2 to April 7, 2014, it announced the collection of applications from grant recipients for the implementation of winning projects. After carrying out all the necessary procedures, work began on the direct creation of “legends”. [3]

- Monument to the boots of the pioneers-builders of Ezhva (location - Ezhvinsky district of Syktyvkar). [6]

- Playground "The Conquerors of the Sky" (location - Lesozavod district).

- The inscription "Syktyvkar" written on an embar (location - the intersection of Ordzhonikidze and Karl Marx streets). The facility was officially opened on October 1, 2014. The square of the square is lined with paving stones. In the center is a flower bed. The inscription "Syktyvkar" and the letters of the Stefanovsky alphabet, located on the background of the national ornament, are made of plastic. - Komi mӧs ( Komi Komi cow ) (location - the intersection of Internatsionalnaya and Babushkina streets, near the building of the Ministry of Agriculture and the consumer market of the Komi Republic). Monument to the cow in full size. The composition of the art object also includes a stump from a poplar cut down in 2016 . The cow's metal sides are decorated with wrought flowers; the monument represents abundance and prosperity. As conceived by the authors of the project, everyone who wipes the cow's udder will be able to recharge with the energy of well-being and prosperity. [15] Installed on May 15, 2017 .
