Kozyrev, Anatoly Alexandrovich

Born on March 26, 1940 in the village of Likhoradovo ^{[1] of the} Smolensk region.

In 1962 - graduated from the Leningrad Mining Institute .

After graduation, he works at the Mining Institute of the Kola Science Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences , having gone from a junior research assistant to a deputy director for scientific work (since 1991).

In 1993 - defended his doctoral dissertation.

In 2002 - awarded the academic title of professor.

A specialist in the study of the stress state of rocks in the upper part of the earth's crust, the forecast of dynamic manifestations of rock pressure.

The author of the rationale for the safe development of mineral deposits and underground construction in rocky high-stress massifs.

One of the participants in the creation of the Kola geodynamic testing ground for monitoring and forecasting possible man-made earthquakes during large-scale mining operations.

He is the author of more than 200 publications, including 8 monographs, 30 foreign publications, 13 inventions.
