Biography
Friedrich is the tenth child in the family of Duke William the Younger and his wife Dorothea of Denmark . In accordance with the dynastic agreement concluded between the brothers, he did not have the right to marry an equal. In the Principality of Luneburg he inherited his elder brother Augustus , he himself was succeeded by his nephew Christian Ludwig .
Duke Frederick is buried in the princely tomb in the city church of St. Mary in Celle.
