Kim Yongja ( cor. 김연자 , 金蓮子 , Kim Yŏnja ; born January 25, 1959 in Gwangju , Republic of Korea) is a South Korean singer and Japanese enka singer [2] .

In 1987, she won a special prize for the song “Asa noKuni Kara”. Sang the official anthem of the 1988 Seoul Olympics .
Kim Yonja manages to do charity work. She collected donations for the victims of the eruption of the Unzen volcano in 1993 and the victims of the great Hanshin earthquake in 1995, organizing concerts in Japan. Also often holds charity concerts in Korea.
The famous singer is also in Japan [3] [4] .
