Rohrung ( dari ررونگ ) is a village in the north-east of Afghanistan , in the province (province) Badakhshan . It is part of the Wahan region.

Geographical position
Rohring is located in the northeast of Badakhshan, in the highlands, on the right bank of the Vahandarya River, at a distance of about 219 kilometers east of the city of Fayzabad , the administrative center of Vilayat. The absolute height is 3275 meters above sea level [1] . The nearest settlements are the village of Rabat (upstream of the Wahandarya), the village of Yazmach (downstream of the Wahandarya).
Population
As of 2003, the population was 280 people. The national composition is dominated by the Vakhans [2] .
