Kaledina, Nina Olegovna

Born February 1, 1952 in Karaganda.

In 1974, she graduated with honors from the Moscow Mining Institute (today, the Mining Institute of NUST “MISiS” ), specializing in underground mining of reservoir deposits.

In 1977 she defended her thesis on the specialty "Labor Protection, Safety Engineering and Fire Engineering".

In 1995 she defended her doctoral dissertation with a degree in Occupational Safety.

In 1997 he was awarded the academic title of professor.

From 1983 to 1992 she worked at the S. Ordzhonikidze Siberian Metallurgical Institute (now it is the Siberian State Industrial University , Novokuznetsk).

From 1992 to 2014, he worked at the Moscow State Mining University (Moscow State Mining University), from 1997, as a professor at the Department of Aerology and Labor Protection, and currently, the Mining Institute as part of the National Research Technological University ( NITU MISiS ).

Scientific interests: mine aerology, aerodynamics of mined spaces, ventilation and degassing of mines, methane safety of coal mines, occupational safety and industrial safety management in the mining industry

The author of more than 120 published works, there are 2 patents.

Under her leadership, 1 doctoral and 6 master's theses in the field of mining safety were defended.

She participated in the development of new Federal educational standards for mountain education.

She participated in the development of industry regulations for mining safety.

Participated in the investigation of accidents at mines (including the Raspadskaya mine), the examination of regulatory documents and projects for the construction and reconstruction of mining industrial safety enterprises (Krasnaya Shapochka mine, Internatsionalny mine, etc.); He is a member of the industry commission for the certification of gas and mine rescuers of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

She participated in the development of a technical project for the underground development of the Mir diamond pipe - a ventilation and emergency protection system.
