Biography

Represented the Republic of Bashkortostan at domestic competitions. He trained under the guidance of Leonid Aleksandrovich Maltsev [1] . In the second half of the 2000s, he also played for the Khabarovsk Territory .

In 2001, he won the silver medal in the relay biathlon of the Russian Championship as part of the national team of Bashkortostan and Tyumen [2] .

Later, he focused on performances in the Archery Biathlon , was a member of the Russian national team in this sport. In 2005, at the World Championships in Forni Avoltri, he became the world champion in the relay and the silver medalist in the pursuit [3] . In 2007, at the World Championships in Moscow, he won a gold medal in sprint [4] . In 2008, at the European Championships in Moscow, he became the silver medalist in the mass start and won bronze medals in the sprint and pursuit [5] . At the level of the Russian Archery Biathlon Championships he was a bronze medalist in the individual 12 km race in 1999 [6] .

Graduated from Bashkir State University . After the end of his sports career, he works as a coach of the Sports School of the city of Ufa , and is also involved in refereeing biathlon competitions.
