Novonachalovsky (among local residents more often than Novonachalovo ) - a village in the Volga region of the Astrakhan region , is part of the Nachalovsky village council . The majority (78%) of the population are Russians ; Kazakhs and Astrakhan Tatars also live ^[1] .

Physico-geographical characteristics

The village is located in the central part of the Volga region on the left bank of the Kutum River. Separated from Astrakhan by Erik Kazachiy, the distance to the city center is about 8 kilometers, to the regional center and the center of the rural settlement of the village of Nachalova - 4 kilometers ^[2] .

Climate

sharply continental , with hot and arid summers and snowless windy, sometimes with great cold, winters. According to the Köppen-Geiger classification of climates, the type of climate is semi - arid (BSk index).
