Biography
Shakir Yanupovich Yusupov was born in 1898 in the Kamensky district of the West Kazakhstan region . Member of the First World War . In 1918 he joined the RCP (b) . As part of the Red Army, he participated in the Civil War . Then he worked in Soviet positions.
In 1937 he was appointed chairman of the East Kazakhstan Regional Executive Committee. This period was marked by the inclusion of a special troika created by order of the NKVD of the USSR dated July 30, 1937 No. 00447 [1] and active participation in the Stalinist repressions [2] .
The final stage
Arrested on August 2, 1937. Sentenced to the VMN VKVS of the USSR on February 25, 1938 and executed on that day. He was charged under Articles 58-1, 58-2, 58-8, 58-7, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR [3] .
Rehabilitated by the Supreme Court of the USSR for the lack of corpus delicti on March 11, 1957.
