Traverse (fastening)

Traverse - a lifting device used on cranes to work with different types of cargo (long, oversized), for example, to transport a container or a construction farm. When using slings to raise the truss, the latter receives an additional load, which leads to destruction, therefore, a traverse is used.

Types of traverse:

linear

H-shaped

for containers

for pipes

chain suspension spreader

with soft towels

cruciform

for metal rolling

for tow trucks and manipulators

for boxes with glass, etc.

Traverse can be installed on the crane for the central part. In this case, loading operations are allowed while limiting the lifting height beyond the end longitudinal (transverse) elements. In this case, you can do without balancing the load. The traverse is mounted using multi-branch lines.
