Biography
From the descendants of the Greeks, immigrants to Russia. Orthodox by religion, a peasant of the Kherson district of the Kherson province. Graduate of the ministerial 2-class school. He earned locksmith skills, raised pedigree cattle, was engaged in millwork. He supervised a model farm on his own purchased land with an area of 417.5 acres, had 8.5 acres of allotment land. After the agrarian riots of 1905, he leased the purchased land. The cost of real estate was 1.5 thousand rubles.
On February 6, 1907, he was elected to the State Duma of the second convocation from the general electors of the Kherson Provincial Electoral Assembly. He joined the faction of the "Union October 17" and a group of moderates. He was a member of the Duma Agrarian Commission. He participated in the debate on the bill "On the abolition of military field courts," supporting them as an exceptional measure to combat the revolution.
Since the fall of 1907, after the dispersal of the Duma, he became a member of the Kherson district zemstvo council.
The fate and date of death is unknown.
