Saymir Woods , better known as Lil Uzi Vert ( born Symere Woods , born July 31, 1994) is an American hip-hop artist and songwriter. Gained recognition after releasing his debut single, “Money Longer,” and several mixtapes , including Luv is Rage , Lil Uzi Vert vs. World and The Perfect Luv Tape . Lil Uzi Vert also collaborated with various rappers , especially Migos in the song “Bad and Boujee”, which reached the first line of the Billboard Hot 100 [1] .

Career
Symer Woods' musical abilities were noticed by Don Cannon, who heard one of Uzi's songs played on DJ Diamond Kuts radio. Woods later signed with DJ Drama, Don Cannon and Leighton Morrison Records Generation Now, as well as with Atlantic Records . He attracted attention after participating in the single “WDYW” Carnage with ASAP Ferg and Rich The Kid in 2015.
On December 18, 2015, Woods then released his third mixtape Luv is Rage , which featured Don Cannon, FKi, Sonny Digital, TM88, DP Beats, Maaly Raw and others, as well as guest appearances by Wiz Khalifa and Young Thug .
On April 15, 2016, he released his fourth mixtape Lil Uzi Vert vs. World , recorded with Don Cannon, Metro Boomin, WondaGurl, M-TRAX, Smatt Sertified and others [2] . In June 2016, Woods was named one of the ten best newcomers of 2016 XXL . On July 31, 2016, he released his fifth mixtape, The Perfect Luv Tape , featuring the song “Seven Million,” recorded with Future .
On August 25, 2017, Lil Uzi Vert released the long-awaited Luv is Rage 2 , and The Weeknd and Farrell Williams became guests of the album. On September 4, the clip “XO Tour Llif3” was released.
At the beginning of 2019, he announced that he was going to leave the music and that he had already deleted all unreleased tracks from 2013. However, already in April he released new material. April 23 released the video "That's A Rack".
Music Style
Complex website reviewer called Uzi “one of those names that you need to pay attention to in 2016” [3] , and Spin magazine wrote: “The 22-year-old guy secured a place for himself ... to express his own style energetically.” The columnist Vice Noisey calls him “a pronounced charismatic,” “a natural entertainer,” who is “for good or for worse, but pulling people into the future.”
