Petrovsky, Vitold Vitoldovich

Vitold Petrovsky was born on February 27, 1986 in the city of Sosnovy Bor ( Moscow Region ).

Mother - Tatyana Iosifovna Semenova (maiden name Petrovskaya), confectioner.

Father - Vitold Vitoldovich Kolyakov, a serviceman.

From 1st to 4th grade he studied at the Sosnovo-Bor School in a military town, after moving his family to the city of Kolomna, he studied at school number 10 ^[1] .

For a long period of time Vitold lived with his grandparents in the Ukrainian city of Zhytomyr . There he began to practice singing at the Center for the Creativity of Children and Youth. Director of the Center, Nikolay Evdokimovich Polivoda - the first vocal teacher. At the age of 10, at the children's vocal competition in Zhitomir , the first performance of V. Petrovsky took place. In 1999, he took II place at the Festival of Children and Youth Creativity "My Talents". Then he became the winner of the International Festival “Pearl of Crimea” in the “Pop Vocal” nomination, and took the second place at the television competition “Stars on the Stage” ( Kiev ) ^[2] .

After graduating from the basic school in Zhitomir, Vitold entered the music school at the conductor-choir faculty (there was no vocal department at the school), and two years later he returned home and graduated from the music school in Kolomna ^[3] .

To date, the artist is touring with a solo program ^[4] , performs in national concerts ^{[5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12]} . He takes part in music competitions and festivals ^{[13] [14] [15] [16] [17] [18]} , in talk shows, in press conferences ^{[19] [20]} . He conducted a radio program, starred in a television series, and played in a musical.

In addition to music, Vitold has been involved in sports since childhood: he was engaged in boxing , football , Kyokushin karate ^{[21] [22]} . In 2009, Witold took first place at the All-Russian Cayman tournament in category “B” ^[23] .

In addition to singing and sports, there are other hobbies, in particular, fishing and billiards ^[24] .

Since 2007, Vitold Petrovsky participated in Oleg Mityaev ’s program “Long live the muses!” (A project in which songs are performed on Pushkin’s poems and David Tukhmanov’s music), where he received his first experience in preparing and recording a literary and musical album ^[25] .

From 2007 to 2010 , the singer held a joint tour with Mityaev in Russian cities and neighboring countries. The presentation of the program was accompanied by concerts at such significant venues as the State Kremlin Palace , Crocus City Hall ^[26] , Slavic Bazaar ^[27] and many others.

In 2009, Vitold became the laureate of the Tsarskoye Selo Art Prize (together with O. Mityaev , D. Tukhmanov , V. Smekhov , M. Esipenko ) ^{[28] [29] [30]} .

He participated in the telecast “The Shelter of Comedians”, as well as in concerts and creative evenings of Eldar Ryazanov in the Eldar Film Club ^{[31] [32] [33] [34]} .

In 2011, he performed the soundtrack to Sergei Makhovikov ’s film “ Quiet Outpost ” (to the verses by O. Mityaev ).

In 2012, he played the role of Kai in the musical “Frozen Heart” based on Andersen ’s fairy tale “The Snow Queen ” ^[35] .

Since 2007, Vitold is a member of the rap group “DLS”. Together with Ilya Kulikov ( pseudonyms KipaN, KipanProd), Ivan Denisov (Ace D.), Nikita Tikhonov (Kit.) He writes the songs “Where does life lead”, “They became an occasion”, “After your winters”, “City”, “Weekdays "," New Year "," Online "," Together forever ", etc.

In parallel, he writes the songs “Tears”, “Truth of Life”, “Let Go”, “Doomed to Solitude”, “Brother”, “Give”, etc.

The first media fame came to Vitold in 2013 after participating in the Live Sound project of the Russia-1 television channel, where he became the People’s Star ^{[36] [37] [38] [39]} . In 2014, he participated in the TV show "Artist" on the channel " Russia-1 " ^[40] .

Since September 18, 2015, Vitold Petrovsky has been a member of the fourth season of the television project of the First Channel “Voice” . During a performance while Blind listening to the song “Another Minute”, Grigory Leps and Polina Gagarina turned to him. Witold chose Leps as his mentor.

He left the project on December 18, 2015 , losing to the winner of the season - Hieromonk Photius ^{[41] [42] [43]} .

After the project, Leps suggested Vitold to sign a contract with his production center, but the artist refused, continuing his independent path ^[49] .

As part of the fifth season of the show “The Voice” ( 2016 ), V. Petrovsky was a “reporter of V” ^{[50] [51] [52] [53] [54]} .

In 2016, he was a semi-finalist of the X-Factor television show on the Ukrainian STB television channel ^[55] . Vitold’s mentor in the project is Konstantin Meladze ^{[56] [57] [58] [59]} .

According to the results of the contest held by the Lisa magazine, Vitold was recognized as the favorite of the audience among the finalists of X-factor-7 ^[60] .

From July 2016 to January 2017, every Tuesday on Radio 1 conducted the column “Date with Vitold,” and released 25 programs. The show was dedicated to musicians and poets from the capital region ^{[61] [62] [63]} .

The presentation of the clip “Memory from the Past” took place at the end of September 2016 ^{[65] [66] [67]} . Immediately after the presentation, the video clip according to the results of the audience’s vote became the winner of “Promotion” on the international music channel RUSSIAN MUSICBOX (November 2016).

SONGS

He met his future wife Tatyana Vitold at age 14, got married when she turned 26. A year after the wedding, the couple separated. Soon a tragedy happened - Tatyana died. Witold is very worried about her departure and devotes much in her work to her departed beloved.

Shortly before the death of his wife, Vitold's younger brother Eugene passed away ^[41] .
