Geography
The rivers Golodiha and Solonovka flow through the village.
History
The official foundation date is 1800. However, there is evidence that the village was founded in 1775. The village of Sitnikov at the river Solonovka (the name of the river was noticed by the pioneers who saw its source passing through the salt marshes) originated in the 18th century. Since 1843, the village of Sitnikovskoe, administratively belonged to the Ust-Lamen volost of the Ishim district of the Tobolsk province.
In 1910, Sitnikovskoye received the status of a volost center. By this time there were a parochial school, a bakery, a wine shop, three trading shops, 12 windmills, a dairy, three forges, a fire barn, and a local station. In 1915, a credit partnership was opened in the village.
In the 1920s, in the village of Sitnikovsky of the Lamensky District of the Ishim District of the Urals Region, a village council, a first-level school, and a cooperative were located.
In the early 2010s, a secondary school, a milk canning factory, and agricultural enterprises operated at Sitnikovsky parish at the church of the Great Martyr Catherine of Alexandria, which was opened in Sitnikovo, apparently in 1843 and was run by the Tobolsk department.
