Biography
Born February 17, 1960 in Bedzin .
In 1979 he graduated from the IV General Lyceum. Hanky Savitskaya in Kielce . In 1984 he graduated from the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Academy of Economics in Katowice . From 1984 to 1991 he worked at a machine-tool plant in the city of Dombrova-Gournich . In 1991, he organized his own business.
He was first elected to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland of the 4th convocation in the 2001 parliamentary elections on the lists of the Civic Platform party. In the parliamentary elections in 2005, he was elected deputy of the Sejm of the 5th convocation. In the Seimas of the 5th convocation, he was the chairman of the committee on internal affairs and administration, and was also deputy head of the parliamentary faction "Civil Platform". In the early parliamentary elections of 2007 he was elected as a deputy of the Sejm of the 6th convocation. Since 2009, he was deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee on internal affairs and administration. From October 2 to October 9, 2009, he acted as the head of the Civil Platform parliamentary faction after the removal of Zbigniew Khlebovsky [1] and before the election of Grzegorz Schetyna .
On April 10, 2010, as part of the Polish delegation, led by President of Poland Lech Kaczynski , he went to Russia on a private visit to mourning events on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Katyn execution . When landing at the airport, Smolensk-North plane crashed . No one survived the crash.
April 22, 2010 was buried in a cemetery near the Holy Trinity Church in Bedzin.

Widow - Barbara Dolnyak . From marriage had a daughter Patricia.
In 2015, Barbara Dolnyak was elected vice marshal of the Sejm of the 8th convocation.
