Peter V. Brikuls (1898, Medynsk, Rezhitsky district of Vitebsk province - 04/01/1946) - activist of the CPSU (b) , 2nd secretary of the Aktobe regional party committee. He was a member of the special trio of the NKVD of the USSR .

Biography
Pyotr Vikentievich Brikuls was born in 1898 in Medynsk of the Rezhitsky district of the Vitebsk province. Secondary education. Member of the CPSU (b) since February 1917. The delegate from Kazakhstan at the XVII Congress of the Communist Party , the so-called "Congress of Winners" [1] .
From November 1936 [2] to October 1937 he was the 2nd secretary of the Aktobe regional party committee. This period was marked by the entry into the composition of a special troika created by order of the NKVD of the USSR dated 30.07.1937 No. 00447 [3] and active participation in the Stalinist repressions [4] .
In October 1937, Peter Brikuls was transferred to Alma-Ata to work as deputy head of the industrial transport department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (b) of the Kazakh SSR [5] .
The final stage
He was arrested by the State Security Directorate of the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs of the KSSR in the Alma-Ata region on May 22, 1938. He was sentenced by the visiting session of the USSR Supreme Council of Conventions on July 8, 1941, to 8 years in prison under Art. 58-1-a, 58-7, 58-8, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR as a member of the right-Trotskyist organization [5] .
He was serving his sentence in the Vyatka ITL . He died in custody on April 1, 1946. Rehabilitated March 7, 1956 in the absence of corpus delicti.
