Nikolai Nikolayevich Bolyarsky (1878–1939) is a Russian clinical surgeon.

Biography
He studied first at the Medical Faculty of the University of Dorpat ; then at the St. Petersburg Military Medical Academy , which he graduated with honors in 1905 . He first worked as a district doctor, and then at the St. Petersburg Obukhov Hospital . In 1910 he defended his doctoral thesis.
In 1918 he left for Ukraine; became one of the builders of health care in Podolia : for almost 22 years he was the chief physician and head of the surgical department of the Vinnitsa Pirogov hospital; He was one of the initiators and organizers of the Vinnitsa Medical Institute , as well as the first head of the scientific and educational part of the institute and head of the department of faculty surgery. In the 1920s, he repeatedly raised a question before the doctors of the Pirogov Society in Moscow and Leningrad about the extremely unsatisfactory condition of N. I. Pirogov’s embalmed body and the tomb where it rested, and asked to find an opportunity to take measures for their further preservation.
Died October 19, 1939 from an attack of angina .
