Player Career

Club

Franco's first club was the Argentinean Newells Old Boys , for which he played over a hundred matches. In 1991, Dario arrived in Spain , in the club " Real Zaragoza " [2] . The next club Franco became the Mexican Atlas , and, after three years of playing in the club, he moved to the Monarcas Morelia , with whom he won the championship of 2000.

International Career

Dario played for the Argentina national team and scored two goals in the 1991 America's Cup , which Argentina won. In the 1993 Cup , he was a substitute for the disqualified Claudio Canigi , but was seriously injured in his first match for the national team.
