Biography
Father - Pilchin Vladimir Abramovich (1915-1984), mother - Pilchina Anna Andreevna (1912-1980), brother - Pilchin, Yuri Vladimirovich (1937-2012) [1] .
Victor began to engage in sailing in 1952 in the yacht club "Spartak", the city of Dolgoprudny .
He was a pioneer in the development of the Flying Dutchman class in the USSR.
In the sailing team of the USSR from 1958 to 1968. Multiple champion of the USSR in the Flying Dutchman class .
At the 1960 Summer Olympics, at the age of 20, he was sixth in the class, along with helmsman Alexander Shelkovnikov .
At the 1964 Summer Olympics, he was fifth in the class again with the helmsman Shelkovnikov. A steering breakdown prevented them from winning a medal.
At the 1968 Summer Olympics, he was 15th in the class, along with the steering Lev Rvalov.
He graduated from the SCOLIFK in 1974. Since 1968, the coach of the youth sports school in his native yacht club Spartak.
1972-1976 - coach of the USSR national team in the Tornado class.
1976-1981 - Senior Coach of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions (Trade Unions).
1982-1991 - Senior coach of the USSR National Team in the Tornado class.
He had the qualifications of a judge of the republican category and a measurer of the Olympic and youth classes of yachts.
In the 90s of the twentieth century, he worked as a safety engineer at a Moscow automobile enterprise
He was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery [2] .
