Jeff Celentano ( born Jeff Celentano ; May 24, 1960 , Pemberton, New Jersey , USA ) is an American actor, director, producer and screenwriter. Co-founder of Periscope Pictures . In the 1980s and 1990s, he acted in films under the pseudonym Jeff Weston .

Biography and career
Born and raised in Pemberton, New Jersey . He studied at Houston College. At 21, he moved to New York, where he took acting classes from Stella Adler , and then entered the New York Film Academy.
In 1984, he made his television debut in the TV series “The Hunter John” (English Trapper John, MD ), under his mother’s maiden name Weston. This was followed by roles in one of the episodes of “ Private Detective Magnum ” (1984), in the action movie “ American Ninja 2: The Scramble ” (1987), the adventure film “ Alien from Los Angeles ” (1988), the Western “Tracing the Track” (1988) ) and in the film adaptation of Jules Verne ’s eponymous work “Journey to the Center of the Earth” (1989).
In the early 1990s, he starred in minor roles in several well-known horror films - “ The Puppet Master 2 ” (1990) and “ Demonic Toys ” (1992), as well as in the parody “ Silence of Ham ” (1994). In 1994, he directed the short film Dickwad in his own script. In 1995, he became the director of the comedy "Under the Hawaiian Moon", in the credits indicated under his real name Celentano. Starring Steven Baldwin , Emily Lloyd and Chris Penn .
The most famous directorial work is the action movie " Moscow Heat " (2004) with Alexander Nevsky in the title role. The film received moderate reviews from critics in the United States , and in Russia most reviews were negative.
