The Krupskaya Central Library is the central library of the city of Azov, Rostov Region. Opened in 1938.

History
The central library named after N.K. Krupskaya was opened on December 6, 1897 in the city of Azov. On the same day, the library was covered. The library was organized at the initiative of a group of local intelligentsia with the participation of the teacher of the Azov girls' gymnasium A. I. Dementyev. In the first year of work, 115 readers were recorded in the library, a total of 3074 books were issued.
Before the October Revolution, the enlightener M. A. Makarovsky worked in the library. The first printed catalog was created, the first reference lists of literature, a survey of readers was conducted.
After the revolution, the number of books purchased increased, and a reading room became free. In the 1920s, the library became a center of propaganda and agitation. It hosted exhibitions, discussions, debates, literary evenings.
In 1939, the library was named after N.K. Krupskaya. By this time, the book stock amounted to about 20,000 copies, 4,000 people were recorded readers.
During the Great Patriotic War, the library building and its book fund were badly damaged. Nevertheless, the library worked, and its fund was replenished with 4000 books.
In the early 70s of the XX century, the library was awarded the title "Library of excellent work." By the end of 1972, the number of readers reached 9536 people, and the book stock amounted to 102810 copies.
Currently, the library continues to function; it has created interest clubs: Literary Albion, Literary and Ecological Living Room Harmony, Literary and Educational Club "I Know the World", Club "Lira" and others.
