Gerasimova, Irina Anatolyevna

Born June 2, 1960 in Moscow. She graduated from the Gorky State Conservatory. M. I. Glinka, piano class in 1983 ^[1] , Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).

• Since 1985 - music editor at the radio station "Youth" ^[1] . She prepared the morning, afternoon and evening infotainment programs, including the Youth Channel and the Evening Courier.
• Since 1991 - music editor at the Studio of Musical and Entertainment TV Programs of Russian Television ^[1] . She took part in the creation of the first television game shows and programs “Zigzag of Fortune”, “Telekrossword”, “Career”, etc.
• Since 1993 - Program Director of Radio Panorama. ^[one]
• From 1996 to 1998 - Head of the radio department at the Ladomir Reklama agency. She was the developer of a number of creative advertising projects.
• Since 1998 - General Director of Radio Russia-Nostalgie. ^[one]
• Since 1999 - Deputy Chairman of the Mayak State Broadcasting Company.
• Since 2000 - Chairman of the State Broadcasting Company Mayak. ^[1]
• Since 2004 - Deputy Director of the Broadcasting Directorate of the Broadcasting Department of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company
• From 2005 to the present vr. - General Director - Artistic Director of the Russian State Musical Television and Radio Center (the structure includes the Orpheus radio station ; musical groups: Orpheus Radio Symphony Orchestra , Yu. V. Silantyev Academic Big Concert Orchestra , Academic Big Choir Masters of Choral Singing " , Academic Choir of Russian Song , Big Band" Orpheus ") .

In December 2001, she headed the Radio Guild as part of the MEDIA UNION. With the participation of I. A. Gerasimova, the professional prize “Radio Mania” was established, which is still being held.

Under the direction of I. A. Gerasimova, the Orpheus radio station switched to FM broadcasting and received a frequency of 99.2. Online broadcasting on the Internet has been launched. Radio "Orpheus" keeps up to date, and special attention is paid to the technical development of the radio station. Orpheus Radio has 10 separate Internet broadcasting channels: Belkanto, Popular Classics, Russian Classics, Symphonic Music, Clavier, Camerata, Wind Instrument Music, Cinema Music ”,“ Music of musicals ”,“ Russian choral music ”.

In 2017, work is underway on the construction of an audio-visual broadcasting studio. The radio station will have a modern studio complex with the ability to carry out multi-camera shooting, broadcasting on the Internet, recording materials and programs. At the moment, Irina Gerasimova led the work on creating a technical platform in the Internet space of a content aggregator in the field of classical music, which will help expand the access of a multimillion-dollar Russian and foreign audience to the cultural heritage of the country.

I.A. Gerasimov pays special attention to covering the most important festivals and competitions in the field of classical music for the country (International Tchaikovsky Competition, International A.N. Scriabin Piano Competition, Trans-Siberian Art Festival, International Mstislav Rostropovich Festival and etc.).

Under the leadership of I. A. Gerasimova, the content of Orpheus Radio has become a unique tool for promoting Russian classical music, a performing school and major musical events in Russia. The volume of broadcasting in foreign broadcasting is constantly growing, which contributes to the promotion of Russian culture in European countries.

In 2014, the radio station received a government media award.

I. A. Gerasimova is the organizer of a variety of creative media and music projects.

Among the last ones implemented is the unique project “We are reviving the heritage of Russian composers”, which has been working on for four years. It aims to restore, preserve and popularize lost musical works, valuable books and music materials. One-of-a-kind films were created about the life and work of forgotten Russian composers: A. Arensky, N. Golovanov, A. Mosolov, L. Polovinkin. The most authoritative organizations in the field of classical art are involved in the partnership: the State Bolshoi Theater of Russia, Moscow Conservatory named after P. Tchaikovsky, All-Russian Museum Association of Musical Culture. M.I. Glinka and many others.

An equally important part of this project is the restoration of rare notes in the music library of the RSMC, textbooks and books about music.

The activities of I. A. Gerasimova in this project was awarded the prizes “Media Manager of Russia 2015” and “Radio Mania 2016”.

Irina Gerasimova is also the author of other large-scale music festivals and programs. An important stage in the history of Orpheus radio was the festival dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the radio station - “Territory of the Classics”. Orpheus celebrated the anniversary with three concerts at once in the Column Hall of the House of Unions in November 2016. The festival brought together connoisseurs of classical music, among whom were Vladislav Piavko, Eugene Doga, Ilze Liepa, Askar Abdrazakov, QUEENtet Sergei Mazayev, Vasily Ladyuk, the State Quartet named after Borodin.

According to the plan of I. A. Gerasimova, the program of the festival included not only academic classical music, but also the most popular arias from musicals performed by stars of this genre. The festival received wide media coverage (Interfax ^[2] , Intermedia ^{[3] [4]} , Izvestia ^[5] , Moskovskaya Pravda ^[6] , TC OTR ^[7] , TC MIR ^[8] , TC “Culture” ^[9] and others) For the first time, Orpheus radio broadcasted live video on its website www.muzcentrum.ru and on the website of Russian Public Television.
