Architectural Features
The house is one and a half floors. The facade has six windows. Rusted corners.
History
Until the end of the 1870s , the house belonged to the merchant Mioti, then to his wife Evdokia. In the late 80s, the wife of the college secretary was acquired by the hereditary noblewoman Maria Nikanorovna Maslakova. Died January 4, 1911 at the age of 81 from liver cancer. Her husband Nikolai Ivanovich died on March 3, 1898 from an inversion of intestines at the age of 79 years. Both were buried in the Assumption Cathedral [1] .
The last owners of the house were Luka Egorovich, his wife Anna Petrovna and Semyon Lukich Russo. Luka Georgievich (Egorovich) was born July 16, 1839 in the family of the Russian private Balaklava bastion and Marfa Ivanovna. The sacrament of baptism in the Greek Church was performed by Archpriest Eustathius Sakelaridi, in the service of Deacon Reznikov. Having reached adulthood, he became engaged to the Trinity Church in the village of Bolshaya Kirsanovka in the noblewoman Anna Maximovna, nee Egg. The Egg family was granted the cornet Vasily Vasilievich April 21, 1785 in the Kiev province [1] .
From 1857 to 1866, Luka Egorovich Rousseau served as an office clerk in the City Duma, then as a clerk of the assistant to the head clerk. In 1873 he was appointed assistant clerk of the council. All affairs were conducted impeccably [1] .
In 1917-1918, a garden was laid on the site near the house, dwarf and molding fruit trees were planted, as well as botanical ornamental plants: pears, apple trees, biggar cherries , plums, cherry plum, apricots, peaches. In the garden grew roses, blue spruce, juniper , thuja, wild grapes, climbing roses "Crimson Rambler" . Of the shrubs - lilac, honeysuckle , chekalkin walnut, lilac in almonds, irga , barberry , currant. As well as poplar, hazelnut, Amur velvet (Amur cork tree) . In the garden there were lilies , irises , peonies , phloxes , rudbeckia , gaillardia , feverfew and many other flowers, a total of 72 species. The total planting area was 330 square fathoms (1500 m²) [1] .
