Alexei Valeryevich Pesoshin (born December 9, 1963 , Kazan ) is a Russian statesman. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan (from April 17, 2017). Candidate of physical and mathematical sciences. Master of Sports in Rugby.

Biography
Born on December 9, 1963 in Kazan. In 1986 he graduated from Kazan State University. V. I. Ulyanov-Lenin (mechanical engineer), after which he worked at the university as a research fellow [1] .
In 1995–2000 he worked in the Housing and Utility Administration No. 79 Zhilbytservice of the Sovetsky District of Kazan (specialist, deputy chief engineer, head), in 2000-2007 - at OJSC Kazan Gas Equipment Plant - Vesta (deputy director, chief engineer, since 2002 - CEO). In 2007 - Deputy General Director of CJSC Holding "Golden Ear" - Director of Management Company Volga Food Corporation LLC [1] .
Since 2007 - in the civil service: the head of the administration of the Sovetsky district of the executive committee of the Kazan municipality, the deputy head of the executive committee of the Kazan municipality (2010), the head of the executive committee of the Kazan municipality (2010 - January 2014) [1] .
From January 10, 2014 - in the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan: First Deputy Prime Minister, from April 17, 2017 - Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan [1] .
Scientific activity
In 1993 he defended his Ph.D.thesis.
