The Kennel Union of the Republika Srpska ( Serb. Kinoloshka Savez Republika Srpske ), abbreviated KSSS - an organization that manages cynological organizations (dog clubs, etc.), organizes dog shows, competitions and fairs in the Republic of Srpska. The Union cooperates with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republika Srpska , as well as the Cynological Union of the Republic of Serbia . The main tasks are popularization, breeding and improvement of cynology in the Republic. Headquarters - Banja Luka , Vidovdanskaya street, 49.
Content
History
On 9 March 1996, a constituent congress of members of the Cynological Union of the Republika Srpska in Banja Luka was held, and the organization itself was officially registered on 9 April in the same city. The congress was attended by representatives of all Kennel clubs of the Republika Srpska, representatives of the Cynological Union of the Republic of Serbia and the Yugoslav Cynological Union . Milenko Šarić was elected president of the union, deputies - Nebojša Švrak and Rade Payić, first secretary - Miroslav Gayić, as well as the first delegate of the KSRS at the Yugoslav dog union.
The first dog show was held in April 1996 in Gradiška, the second - in May in Banja Luka, then in Brcko, in September in Prijedor and in October in Biielin. The first republican dog show of all breeds was held in Gradiška in April 1997. [1]
