Piotr Jozef Hofmansky ( Polish. Piotr Józef Hofmański ; born in March 6, 1952 in Poznan , Poland ) is a Polish lawyer , criminal lawyer , professor of law. Since 2015, the judge of the International Criminal Court .

Biography
Born in 1956 in Poznan. In 1978 he graduated from the Nicolaus Copernicus Law School. In 1981 he received his doctorate in philosophy, and in 1990 his doctorate in law [1] . From 1990 to 2002, Professor of Criminal Law of the University of Bialystok , taught criminal and criminal procedure law. Since 2003, the head of the department of criminal proceedings of the Jagiellonian University . In 1996–2015, he was a judge of the Supreme Court of Poland .
In 2014 he was elected a judge of the International Criminal Court on list "A" of the regional group of Eastern European states.
