Sultan Qabus Sports Complex Stadium ( Arabic: مجمع السلطان قابوس الرياضي ); best known as the Sultan Qaboos Stadium - a multifunctional stadium located in the city of Baushar , which is part of the capital of Oman - Muscat (the so-called “Big Muscat”). The stadium and sports complex are named after the current Sultan of Oman - Qaboos bin Saeed Al Saeed , who has been in power in the Sultanate of Oman since August 1970.

The stadium can accommodate 34 thousand spectators, is the main and largest stadium in Oman. It is the home stadium of the Omani national football team and a number of local football clubs.
The construction of the stadium and sports complex Sultan Qaboos began in 1983. In 1985, construction was completed, the stadium was opened on October 19 of the same year. Initially, 40 thousand spectators could accommodate itself, but after a series of reconstructions, the capacity was reduced to the current level of 34,000 seats. The stadium hosted matches of a series of Gulf Cup draws. In addition to football matches, competitions and other sports are held at the stadium, holidays are held on an urban and national scale.
