Biography
Konstantin Zakharov was born in 1832; came from a noble family . He received his elementary education at the Ryazan Men's Gymnasium , and then continued his studies at the medical faculty of the Imperial Moscow University , after which in 1854 he became a regimental physician with the rank of doctor in the Moscow Life Guards Regiment [1] .
In 1859, he was the resident of the Pyatigorsk Military Hospital, in 1863 - the senior resident of the St. George Military Hospital, and in 1869 Konstantin Ivanovich Zakharov was seconded to the St. Petersburg Medical and Surgical Academy to defend his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medicine, in which he was approved was in May 1871, presenting a work entitled "Histological examination of healing of bone wounds after a resection complicated by a nerve injury" [1] .
In the same year, K. I. Zakharov was determined as a doctor in the Moscow commandant’s office, in 1877 he was transferred to the administration of the grenadier and army infantry battalions, but the next year he again transferred to the commandant’s office, where he stayed until 1884, when due to health reasons was forced to resign [1] .
Konstantin Ivanovich Zakharov died on September 17, 1891 in the city of Moscow [1] .
